Full of passion, discipline and motivation is best described in Dr. KaMyka Glenn’s desire to see the youth she encounters become successful. Her goal is to cultivate their life by empowering them with life skills to blaze directly into their destiny.

With over 15 years of educational experience, Dr. KaMyka has served diligently as a teacher and Child Care Director for both, the public and nonpublic school sectors. She has worked tirelessly with students with disabilities, incarcerated students and students identified as “at risk.”

Dr. KaMyka is dedicated to meeting the needs of each student strategically identifying their needs on a one-on-one basis. She currently serves as a Secondary Transition Program Specialist for Prince George’s County Public Schools where she leads all transition efforts for the students as they begin to establish a productive life after school.

Dr. KaMyka earned her master’s degree in Secondary Special Education and
Transition Services, Interdisciplinary Transition Services from the George
Washington University, Graduate School of Education and Human
Development. She currently is pursuing her doctorate degree in
Educational Leadership.

Dr. KaMyka has co-written two educational publications: 2015-16 Planning Ahead: Financial Aid for Students with Disabilities (Sept.) and The Pathfinders Curriculum (2015). Finally, she is the CEO and Founder of iDreamAcademy and author of children books, Dream Chronicles and W.O.W: The Voices of Youth. Through her professional coaching and consulting company, Dr. KaMyka has travelled nationally coordinating
workshops for youth and speaking on numerous educational forums with a focus on youth engagement. In addition to fulfilling her passion by empowering and guiding youth through their life experiences, she enjoys positively influencing the lives of others through life coaching.
